How to check Core Web Vitals in Google Search Console
The Core Web Vitals report groups your URLs into Good, Needs improvement and Poor, using real-user data from Chrome (CrUX).
Step by step
- 1Go to Experience → Core Web Vitals.
- 2Open the Mobile or Desktop report.
- 3In "Why URLs aren't considered good", click an issue (LCP, INP or CLS) to see example URLs grouped by similar pages.
- 4Test an example URL in PageSpeed Insights to find the cause, fix the template, then click Validate fix.
Good to know
- The data is a 28-day rolling window of real visits, so fixes take weeks to show.
- Low-traffic sites may have no data: Chrome needs enough visits.
- Fix the template behind a URL group, not page by page.
